Tim Brady – 100 Guitars
A spatialized, “surround sound” composition for 100 electric guitars, by composer Tim Brady, entitled “100 Very Good Reasons Why___”.
The work was written, in part, as a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of guitar legend and innovator Les Paul (born: 1915).
This performance was given by the Instruments of Happiness EXTREME ensemble, as part of the 2015 Montréal/Nouvelles Musiques Festival. The performance took place on Saturday, March 7 at the Complexe Desjardins in Montréal, Québec, Canada.
