Covid-19 is dangerously impacting the social-economic category of musicians. No concerts, poor political and social consideration, uncertain earnings. As a consequence, an ever-growing number of musicians, especially those from the experimental area, are trying to promote their music on BandCamp in digital format only. It is increasingly difficult for me to follow and review this incredible flow of music. I therefore decided to open this section on my blog Neuguitars where I propose music in digital format that I consider particularly interesting and worthy of attention. I hope you like it. Let’s support musicians. They need it.

During the lockdown, I wrote and record many solo songs at home. I would like to share them in an original way. That’s why I asked different artists (film makers, drawers, photographers, …) to create images around a tune that I sent them. I gave nor explanation nor direction. I just wanted them to give their interpretation of the music, the mood and interact with me as a musician could do. I released a video every two weeks. Here is the compilation of those tracks.
Unlike my last album « Momentum », each song is a different world, not really a part of one story but each piece is/have an own story.
To create different atmospheres, i used baryton guitar, acoustic guitar and Kalimba.
I experimented different ways of recording to reflect the mood of each song in a singular way.
