Buon Anno a tutti Voi! Si è chiuso un 2021 difficile, complicato e molto impegnativo. Un anno, per quanto riguarda neuguitars.com pieno di soddisfazioni e di tanta ottima musica. Tante soddisfazioni perché aumenta sempre il numero delle pagine visitate e di chi comincia e poi continua a seguirmi. Neuguitars ha superato le 77.000 visualizzazioni nel 2021. Chi da tempo considera il blog uno strumento di comunicazione datato deve ricredersi: il blog musicale ha assunto il ruolo che negli anni ’80 e ’90 svolgevano le fanzine, ovvero occuparsi di nicchie interessanti e poco frequentate dalla stampa mainstream. Ho notato che il Covid-19 sembra aver accelerato una tendenza già latente nel mondo della musica di avanguardia e sperimentale: ho osservato con molto piacere un desiderio di rinascita, di creazione di nuove possibilità, di nuovo, di Neu, che spero continui e prosperi nel 2022. Viviamo in un mondo che negli ultimi decenni ha sempre più scelto di vivere nella nostalgia, rinunciando al futuro. Abbiamo bisogno di nuove utopie e la musica ne è sempre stata un veicolo ideale.
