Mart Soo (born 2 October 1964 in Tallinn) is an Estonian composer, guitarist and music teacher, one of the leaders of the band Weekend Guitar Trio. Mart so graduated in 1980. In 1983, the 27th 8th grade school in Tallinn and in 1983 tallinn 10. High school. From 1985 to 1986 he worked in the Orchestra of the Russian Drama Theatre under the direction of Avi Nedzvetsky. From 1986 to 1990 he studied guitar at the Georg Ots Tallinn Music School in riho Lilje’s guitar class. Since 1990 he has been working as a guitar teacher. Among other things, so organises an improvisational music event “ImproTest” with Taavi Kerikmäe. He is also one of the founders and members of the ensemble Cognition Unit. Since 2008, Mart so has been a member of the ensemble Estonian Guitar Octet. Among his students are Oleg Pissarenko, Kristjan Kaasik, Peter Põder and many others. In 2007, Mart so performed at the anniversary concert of the Republic of Estonia in Tartu, where he accompanied Liisi Koikson on guitar with Merje Käo.
