This album is a collection of songs primarily inspired by the vast open spaces and wild lands of the mountain west. It attempts to paint images, with the guitar, of the indescribably beautiful places that most people don’t get to see.
(Red Sun Sonata) : in Bb Maj – a sonata for 6 string inspired by the hauntingly beautiful red sunrises cause by the wildfires that have been plaguing the American West
(Two Oceans) : in Eb Maj- A blending of finger-picking styles, a good piece to listen to if you ever find yourself atop a plateau overlooking the Grand Tetons
(Thunder Snow ) : in C Minor- An attempt to imitate the intensity of a rare weather event, for 6 string
(Absaroka Raga) : in D Major- First attempt at a guitar raga in the spirit of Basho
(Across the great divide ) : in C Major-1st of a two part 12-string “concerto”
(Hidden Valley Suite) : in C Major- Part 2 of 2
