Thomas Pizzini is a guitarist devoted to blues, experimental and electronic music. Andrea Massaria is a classical and jazz guitar virtuoso as well as a composer. Since 1990 he has devoted himself to jazz, contemporary music, especially creative composition. In 2021 they began work on a project combining experimentation, traditional music, and contemporary music.

Opera is a work with feet firmly planted in the past and an eye looking at the future. Within the minimal arrangements, harmony and rhythm are playing on different levels and the voice acts as a medium between rational and irrational. Opera is very definitely not a fusion of classical and jazz music but instead creates an intimate conversation between them during which we also talk about blues, techno, atonal music, and when two guitars and a voice believe themselves to be an orchestra.
