Adrian Verdejo is a Canadian-Mexican guitarist, recording artist, podcaster, and music educator based in Vancouver, the territories of the Coast Salish. Described as “the go-to guy for new music featuring guitar” (Vancouver Sun) and a “Musician’s musician” (Vancouver Courier), Verdejo has commissioned, premiered and arranged numerous original pieces for both classical and electric guitars. He performs as a soloist, and with the McGregor-Verdejo Duo. He has also played with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, the Vancouver Inter-Cultural Orchestra, Turning Point, Aventa Ensemble, and he is a founding member of the Victoria Guitar Trio and Duo Verdejo.
Redshift was founded in Vancouver, Canada with a focus on championing the music of contemporary composers.
